Tomoya Ohtani (大谷 智哉, Ōtani Tomoya, born July 1, 1974, in Tokyo, Japan) is a Japanese composer and record producer who works for video game company Sega, most notably as a sound director for the Sonic the Hedgehog series since the mid–2000s.[1][2][3][4][5][6] Ohtani also performs live musical pieces from the Sonic series on bass guitar, often alongside fellow Sega musician Jun Senoue.[2]
