Tom Verlaine (born Thomas Miller, december 13, Morristown, 1949) is an American singer, songwriter and guitarist. He is best known as leader of the New York punk-rock band Television.
Verlaine and his former Television band sizes Richard Lloyd and Robert Quine are known as inventive rock guitarists. Verlaine is at number 56 of Rolling Stonemagazine's 100 greatest guitarists of all time.
