Production[Edit][]
The film was produced as a cheap B-movie in Italy at the time, many of which were made. It is an experimental film in which the story is of secondary importance. The tension is built up by strange camera work, lavish sets, bizarre sound effects, hysterical music and unusual use of bright primary colors. The story is at high speed even for the genre and contains a large amount of violent massacres.
