Strike[1] is a sport that serves as the primary focus of the Mario Strikers series. Hosted by the Galactic Strikers Federation, it is essentially a more extreme variant of association football (commonly known as "football" or "soccer"), allowing for headbutting, electric rails, using one's hands to carry or shoot the ball, and the usage of various power-ups, Super Abilities, and various Super, Mega, and Hyper Strikes.
