Stephenie Morgan Meyer (Hartford (Connecticut), december 24, 1973) is an American author.
Meyer studied English at Brigham Young University in Provo, Utah.
In June 2003 she got a dream about some characters and she began to write about it. It was a series of children's books (Twilight) about the love between a girl and a vampire.There were 3 main characters: Edward Cullen, Jacob Black and Bella Swan (Cullen).
After the publication of her first book in 2005, Twilight, she was regarded as a promising writer.
New Moon (novel), published in 2006, the follow-up.
In August 2007 is the third part released, Eclipse. The Dutch version of Eclipse came in april 2009. On 2 August 2008 the American sequel released, Breaking Dawn. The Dutch version of Breaking Dawn, breaking dawn, is called since 16 april 2010 in stores. She has also published an additional book in June 2010, this book is based on the young vampire Bree Tanner from Eclipse and is called: the short second life of Bree Tanner.
Meyers Twiligh whole series is filmed in five parts, with Robert Pattinson (Edward Cullen) and Kristen Stewart (Bella Swan) in the leading roles.
Meyer is living in Cave Creek in the State of Arizona with her husband and three children. She is a supporter of the Church of Jesus Christ of latter-day Saints. [1]
