Sonic X Shadow: Tokyo Mission -Episode 0- (ソニック × シャドウ TOKYO MISSION -Episode 0-) is a one-shot manga chapter made in promotion of the Sonic the Hedgehog 3 film, starring Shadow the Hedgehog, and serving as a paraquel to the film. It marks the first time a live-action Hollywood film has a manga distributed alongside it. It is authored by Yuki Imada, who is also the writer for the The Jet Black Hedgehog: Shadow the Hedgehog manga series, and is a special-edition chapter that was handed out to attendees at Japanese screenings of the film.[1]

Shadow the Hedgehog is in Tokyo, on top of the Rainbow Bridge. G.U.N. requests Shadow to calmly surrender and exclaims that he's surrounded, Shadow disagrees and grinds away from the units. He ends up in Shibuya, he briefly stops and sees a girl resembling Maria Robotnik, Shadow mourns for a bit, only to turn around and sees an entire G.U.N. platoon trying to stop him, Shadow angry at this immediately attacks them, with the entire platoon being defeated. Some of the remaining soldiers retreat banter about how weak they are compared to Shadow.

Shadow, on top of destroyed G.U.N. vehicle, notices another presence near him, and spots Team Sonic, with Shadow then calling them "eyesores."
