Shinya Takahashi (伸也高橋, Takahashi Shinya, born November 09, 1963) is a Japanese video game designer, director and producer. Working for Nintendo, he is the General Manager of the Entertainment Planning & Development and Supervisor of the Business Development Division and Development Administration & Support Division.[1]

History[]

Having joined the company in 1989, he initially worked on graphic design and then as designer, director and producer, until he was promoted in 2010 as general manager of Software Planning & Development and then when the division merged with Entertainment Analysis & Development in 2015, he became the general manager of Entertainment Planning & Development. Since then, he's been credited as General Producer or Executive Producer on almost all games supervised and published by Nintendo.[2]
