Leone in Grand Theft Auto III
Salvatore Leone is a fictional character in Grand Theft Auto III, Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas and Grand Theft Auto: Liberty City Stories. He is a Mafia kingpin and don of the Leone crime family in Liberty City. He first appears in GTA 3 as a secondary antagonist, GTA SA as a minor antagonist and later appears in the interquel GTA LCS as a supporting character.
The character's design and history are based on Vito Corleone from The Godfather. Salvatore Leone was voiced by American actor and musician Frank Vincent.
Fictional biography[]
Salvatore Leone was born in Palermo, Sicily in the early 20th century. He later emigrated to the United States and formed the Leone crime family in Liberty City. The family later set up operations in Las Venturas in the 1990s, and Leone became acquainted with Carl Johnson.
