Rabbid Rosalina is a Rabbid dressed as Rosalina, and one of the nine main heroes in Mario + Rabbids: Sparks of Hope. She was created when Spawny used the SupaMerge to fuse a Rabbid with a Rosalina item. In Mario + Rabbids Sparks of Hope, Rabbid Rosalina teams up with Mario, Luigi, Princess Peach, Rabbid Mario, Rabbid Peach, Rabbid Luigi, Bowser and Edge to save the universe from Cursa.

Profile[]

Physical description[]

Rabbid[]

She has white fur everywhere except inside her rabbit-like ears, around her mouths, on her tummy, paws, and under her feet, showing pale skin. She usually has blue eyes, but when in an adrenaline rush, her eyes turn red, which is her most notable feature. She has paws with one opposable thumb on each paw and no fingers. She also has blue eyes buck teeth and feet with no toes.

Rosalina form[]

Rabbid Rosalina has long platinum blonde hair; her primary outfit consists of a cyan gown. Her brooch and earrings are star-shaped, while her crown features star shaped patterns engraved into it. Her brooch and crown are silver, as are her high heels, while her earrings are golden. She also wears a few jewels, including a gold jewel inside the brooch and crown jewels that are pink and turquoise. Her gown cuts off at the top of her chest, where a powder-blue flap loops around, and has long sleeves with wide openings at the bottom, which are topped with powder-blue frills. At the bottom is another power-blue frill that loops around until turning up to a point at the middle; under this a layer of a petticoat is visible. The gown bares the top of her shoulders.

Personality traits[]

When she was still a normal Rabbid, Rabbid Rosalina exhibited traits of a normal Rabbid; curious, wild, chaotic, and mischievous. Now that she's been fused with a Rosalina item, Rabbid Rosalina is the exact opposite of her human counterpart. Human Rosalina is upbeat, joyous and optimistic, Rabbid Rosalina is lazy, cynical and gloomy. Ironically, that makes her feel like a goth, despite not looking like one. Although this does make her like her original portrayal. She also has her monotone voice. Rabbid Rosalina is very smart and enjoys reading, as seen when she has a bunch of books in her library. While she finds her friends weird and annoying, she loves them and considers them a family of her own.[2]

Powers and abilities[]

In Mario + Rabbids Sparks of Hope, Rabbid Rosalina uses a gatling weapon called the Kaboomer, which is a Spark-like plushie that can fire several at once to damage foes and can even obliterate destructable cover. Her Dash can be powered up to the Ennui Dash that can immobilize any foe she dashes into. Her Technique is the Ennui ability, which can immobilize any foe within her range that would cause them to lose a turn as long as nobody else attacks them.

History[]

Mario + Rabbids Sparks of Hope[]

Background[]

During the basement incident in Mario + Rabbids Kingdom Battle, Rabbid Rosalina was created by the SupaMerge in the hands of Spawny. After that, she disappeared throughout the first game. Sometime before Mario + Rabbids Sparks of Hope, begins, she was presumably taken by Cursa. Captain Orion saved her, which led her to become her father figure. For an unknown amount of time Rabbid Rosalina traveled with Captain Orion in hopes of finding Mario's space friend, Rosalina. However, she was captured by the Spark Hunter Midnite and taken prisoner where she was imprisoned in the Winter Palace.

Pristine Peaks[]

Rabbid Rosalina was reading through some books and tosses one aside up until she sees Captain Orion attempt to approach her, but he is immediately captured by Midnite, prompting the latter to fight back. After Midnite is defeated, Rabbid Rosalina is reunited with Captain Orion and Edge spares Midnite, who flees sorrowfully. Rabbid Rosalina apologizes for wandering off, and when he was supportive of her going on an adventure with the heroes, she was reluctant on this thought, since she wants to find Rosalina, the person she desires to meet, but chooses to since they are also searching for the same person and vows to make Captain Orion proud.

Palette Prime[]

Rabbid Rosalina is part of the meeting as they approach Palette Prime, known for its wondrous autumn nature, however, it too fell victim to the Darkmess that Cursa caused, and it caused the forest to be drained of color and life and Paletteville is under attack by unknown assailants. The heroes were able to destroy the Darkmess Tentacle, they head through the shortcut through the basement in Woodrow's house, allowing them to enter the town and they find that the town was endangered by two brawlers, Bowser and Bedrock who are locked in a fight and it wasn't long before they noticed familiar faces; Bowser seeing Mario and Bedrock seeing Edge, and Bowser headbutts her before being thrown into the tentacle with her following him. With her unfamiliarity with Bowser, Edge asks about him, while confirming that Bedrock is a Spark Hunter. Beep-0 explains that Bowser wasn't a friend since he kidnaps Peach a lot and feuds with Mario and his friends in general. They head to the Darkmess Tentacle to aid Bowser and grants him the Bowzooka to allow him to fight back. Once Bedrock is defeated, she escapes on the ship that arrived. Bowser explains his presence that he is looking for Cursa, since it mind-controlled his minions, and he wants them back.

Terra Flora[]

As they approach Terra Flora, JEANIE reveals that they are now in range of Cursa's Stronghold but runs into a problem that it is well protected by a barrier that deters intruders. After Beep-0 accidentally enrages Edge by asking a personal question that she isn't willing to answer, which he then backs off. Once they arrive, they noticed that Terra Flora is on the verge of a drought that threatens floral life and with Bea's guidance, she directs them to the train engineer Sullivan, who gives them a ride on the Wiggler Train to reach Mt. Spout, a water volcano that brings the planet life. A real Wiggler infested with Darkmess pursues them in hot rage and Rabbid Rosalina is disinterested by its presence, while Sullivan speeds up the train, but Wiggler catches up again which only Rabbid Rosalina is too bored to react like everyone else, forcing them to fight back. After escaping from it, they arrived at Mt. Spout where they destroyed the Darkmess Tentacle there, allowing the water volcano to erupt with most of the heroes trapped in bubbles, with Rabbid Rosalina lying on Edge and Bowser's bubble reading a book before they fall. Bea tells them that Momma, the warden at Barrendale Mesa would help with creating a weapon that would help deal with the shields.

Barrendale Mesa[]

The heroes make their way to Barrendale Mesa where it was once full of abundant life until the Rabbids arrived and used up all the resources before leaving, while JEANIE points out that Momma is still living on the planet, and she might create a Shield Breaker to deal with the barrier around Cursa's Stronghold, which happens to be close by. Edge becomes worried about having to potentially confront the sneakiest of the Spark Hunters. Due to the electric storm, the WM ARC is unable to properly land meaning that they would have to jump from high ground. Rabbid Luigi, Rabbid Mario, Rabbid Peach, and Rabbid Rosalina land on a giant balloon, but Bowser's sharp claws end up destroying it. Rabbid Peach and Rabbid Rosalina land first and the former holds her paw out and the latter gives her a sluggishly high-five. Their entrance has miffed Momma, whose garage is closed due to harsh weather conditions and couldn't help them, but instead instructs them to head to the malfunctioning windmill if they were that serious about getting her help and points out that they could have prepared parachutes instead to prevent unintentional property damage. Once the windmill is fixed, they receive a transition from "Momma" who tells them to return to the garage, but once they do, they find out that it was a trap and "Momma" was really Daphne in disguise and traps them in the Darkmess Dimension, but they each managed to beat her. Cursa then arrives to confront the heroes but ends up immobilized and with an explosion of light, Rosalina herself emerges, making her Rabbid counterpart estatic to see her, as Rosalina uses her wand to open a portal for them to escape before she is recorrupted by Cursa and Edge leads everyone out of the Dimension. Mario tries to tell her to escape, but she gets argumentative with him and refuses to leave Rosalina behind, forcing Mario to carry her to safety. With everyone disoriented, especially with Rabbid Rosalina in despair with the revelation of Rosalina's true fate, with how the events through a Purified Darkmess Crystal revealing what kick started the events, Momma assures them that they are united, hope is on their side, and Rosalina is counting on them.

Melodic Gardens[]

In The Last Spark Hunter, as they make their way to Cursa's stronghold, they find that Melodic Gardens have gone silent, and they change course to investigate what was happening there, which made Rabbid Rosalina feel letdown that they have to wait. After saving the members, they meet with Allegra who is the warden of the planet, who explains that the silence is threatening Melodic Garden's existence and one of the Spark Hunters is responsible for its state, which left Edge confused as she states that they have defeated all of them. Upon meeting Kanya, Edge states that she does not know who she is at all. Sometime later, after getting past all the obstacles they find that Allegra is comforting a Dorrie who is trapped in a cage, who is a special friend. They help Allegra free Dorrie and work with her to defeat Kanya once and for all. Allegra is grateful for their work and restored harmony to the planet. They leave to Cursa's stronghold.

Cursa's Stronghold[]

Upon arrival, the team used the Shield Breakers to destroy the barrier around Cursa's Stronghold which reveals that it was the Comet Observatory, to everyone's dismay over how low Cursa went to attack the symbol of hope in the galaxy. They land on the debris of the shields where they find Darkmess Puddles, one containing Darkmess Bowser and the other containing Darkmess Edge. During the battle with Cursa, they destroy its hands and attack the broken star until it couldn't contain the drained Sparks, releasing them as well as Rosalina, which Rabbid Rosalina is overjoyed that she is finally free. Rosalina then partakes in the battle. With Cursa being weakened further, Rabbid Rosalina stands in-between her friends and Cursa, but the drained Sparks do their part and turn themselves into a laser to severely wound Cursa and the heroes all combine their strength along with Rosalina merging them into a single golden arrow to completely destroy entity once and for all.

Mushroom Kingdom (Epilogue)[]

Rosalina is completely grateful to the heroes for their help in saving her and the galaxy and she even restored the lost energy to the Sparks who fell victim to Cursa, proving that energy cannot be destroyed, but altered. Rabbid Rosalina, despite wanting to be with her human counterpart when given the offer, instead chose to stay with her new friends due to seeing them as family to her, even though she finds them weird and annoying, and Edge also chose to stay with the heroes since her old friends are seeking a new profession. Rabbid Rosalina and the others watch the other Rabbids mess with the grouchy Bowser, which Mario tries to stop them, but was too late when Bowser unleashes a fire ball to throw them off.

The Tower of Doooom[]

When it was revealed that Spawny, one of the heroes' old friends was imprisoned in a place that belongs to Madame Bwahstrella, called The Tower of Doooom, Rabbid Rosalina and her friends head through ten floors and after defeating the giant enemy on the tenth floor Spawny is freed and has gained the confidence to go on his own, knowing that his friends will have his back in his time of need.

Rayman in the Phantom Show[]

Rabbid Rosalina makes a small cameo in this DLC where she witnessed Rabbid Mario showing a gift to Mario, containing Rayman's hoodie.
