Mortal Kombat Fates Beginning is a short film directed by Chris Barcia and released on November 7, 2015. It is based on the Mortal Kombat franchise. It follows the champions of Earthrealm as they fight in a tournament to save Earthrealm from an invasion by Shao Kahn. The film features fan favourite characters from the Mortal Kombat Franchise such as Raiden, Liu Kang and Kitana.
