Mega Man III a 1992 North America-exclusive DOS game released by Hi-Tech Expressions based on the Mega Man franchise. It is the second DOS game based on the franchise, following the 1990 Mega Man DOS game produced by the same company. Despite sharing the same title, it has nothing to do with the Nintendo Entertainment System game Mega Man 3, nor was there ever a DOS game titled Mega Man II.
