Mary Tyler Moore (Brooklyn, 29 december 1936) is an American actress and comedienne. She was nominated for an Academy Award in 1981 for her starring role inOrdinary People. More than 25 acting prizes were actually awarded her, including two Emmy Awards for her role in The Dick Van Dyke Show, four for the to her self named The Mary Tyler Moore Show and one more for the television movie Stolen Babies .
For Ordinary People received Moore called her third Golden Globe, after they previously received for both The Dick Van Dyke Show and The Mary Tyler Moore Show.
Moore married in 1983 with Robert Levine, where they gave the Yes-Word for the third time. Earlier marriages with Dick Meeker (1955-1961) and Grant Tinker (1962-1981) piece ran. They got together with Tinker son Richie, who died in 1980 because of an accident involving a defective gun. Moore is itself the oldest from a family with three children, but survived both her brother as her sister. Sister Elizabeth in 1978 at the age of 21, committed suicide with adrugoverdose. Brother John died in 1991 at age 47.
