Mary Elizabeth Winstead (Rocky Mount, november 28, 1984) is an American actress.
Biography[Edit][]
Winstead was born in Rocky Mount and is the daughter of James Ronald Winstead and Betty Lou Knight. She has four older brothers and sisters and she is a distant cousin of actress Ava Gardner. She grew up in North Carolina and Salt Lake City. When she was eleven years old, she started ballet lessons, as they wanted to become a ballerina. Not much later she also took acting classes.
Winsteads career began in the late 90 's. She had guest roles in television series such as Touched by an Angel and Promised Land. She was a regular cast member in the television series Passions from 1999 to 2000.
Her breakthrough came only as an adult actress, in 2005. She then got a role in the Disney movie Sky High. In 2006 she received a starring role in one of the greatesthorror films of 2006: Final Destination 3 .
And among other things is to see them in Black Christmas and Bobby, Grindhouse and Die Hard 4.0 .
