Letters to Juliet is an American romantic film from 2010 with Amanda Seyfried in the title role.
Story[]
The young Sophie works as a fact checker for The New Yorker, though she would like to be a writer. She is going out with her fiancé Victor on for honeymoon toVerona in Italy. Victor takes this opportunity to suppliers to look for his planned Italian restaurant, and let Sophie often alone.
On step in the city they will pass the Casa di Giulietta; the House of Juliet from Shakespeare's Romeo and Julietfamous work. She sees how young ladies leave all kinds of messages for Julia on the wall and how that evening by a young woman is collected. Sophie follows her to the Office of Juliet's Secretaries: four women on the payroll of the city which answer all letters.
They are invited to help them and goes to retrieve the letters the next day. Behind a loose brick in the wall she finds a fifty year old copy of an English girl about her Italian love and she decides to answer him. Shortly later the grandson of that girl's Office. He makes clear that he finds it inappropriate Sophie his grandmother after all these years to turn to look for her childhood sweetheart.
Sophie follows him outside and met so Claire actually traveled to the man with whom she wanted to marry but if 15-year-old girl from uncertainty, Lorenzo, left to find. They may go to Charlies displeasure on the quest and also write down the whole story. In the phone book, they find a whole range of Lorenzo Bartolini's, and then one by one they looking on.
After plenty of Lorenzo's to have visited, they give in the long run the search on but on the way back that a young man on her notes Claire Lorenzo seems. They stop and it turns out to be his grandson. The two meet each other after fifty years and fall again for each other — Claire Lorenzo is a widow and widower.
Back in New York disconnects Sophie her relationship with Victor. Her boss finds the story they brought good and decides to publish it. Then get an invitation to the wedding of Claire and Sophie Lorenzo and flies back to Italy, where she and Charlie admit to keep from each other.
