Lemony Snicketpseudonym of Daniel Handler (San FranciscoFebruary 28, 1970) is an American author and screenwriter. He is the writer of the series A Series of Unfortunate Events (series of unfortunate events).

Snicket is a paranoid writer who explains in detail all the difficult words in his books. His way of writing is humorous: as he once started is about a "boring" topic to write he goes there quite long on by.

Series of unfortunate events is about 3 children (Violet, Klaus and little Baudelaire) who lose their parents after a fire. They are placed with Count Olaf, who is only on their fortune. If he loses, he continues to haunt the children custody, in different disguises. The children come to know about a secret organization: Aalsmeer flower auction and investigate the mystery.
