In Her Shoes is a 2005 American drama film directed by Curtis Hanson. It is a film adaptation of the book In Her Shoes by the author Jennifer Weiner. Toni Collette for her role was nominated for a Golden Globe and a Satellite Award.
Story[Edit][]
Sisters Maggie (Cameron Diaz) and Rose (Toni Collette) are totally different in life. Maggie is a lapolla, beautiful, sexy and charming, but superficial and totally unable to caps its own beans. She has no property or money, but is fond of shopping by the money she steals together here and there. The two years older Rose is responsible, caring, modest and advocate. She has a secret relationship with her multiple Jim Danvers (Richard Burgi) and stands here actually astounded because they little positive about its appearance is.
When Maggie is fired for the umpteenth time, she ends up in the middle of the night drunk on the couch at Rose, who captures her for the umpteenth time. She leaves her little sister a while at her live so they can put her life back on legs from there. Maggie makes no move to total only, does nothing in house and turns it into a big mess of.Subsequently exceeded when Maggie Danvers seduces. Rose caught them red-handed, breaks up with him and throws her furiously out of the House.
By the incident changes the lives of both sisters drastically. Rose wants to no longer show on her work, where Danvers-run. Instead of pressure by going, she goes a while to slow do to what to think and she starts on its own a dog walking service. Her former colleague Simon Stein (Mark Feuerstein) wants to stay in her life and does nevertheless repeatedly expressed its best to convince her of his romantic intentions. - Cameron Diaz plays the younger sister of Toni Collette, but is in reality more than two months older.
- Collette came for the role 12.5 pounds, they gradually fall off the story to show that her character getting better herself gets stuck.
