Hayley Smith is the daughter of Stan and Francine Smith. She is also the sister of Steve Smith. Hayley is in high school and about at the end of season 1 of American Dad, she meets a boy, Jeff, who her father does not approve of. Hayley and her father do not agree most of the time, as for example, when her father wanted to put homeless people in a public boxing show. Although, Hayley and her mother agree on most things and share a comfortable and respectful relationship. (except on Vacation Goo, she sticks Stan, Francine and Steve in the goo so she can have sex with Jeff.)
