Character history[]
Eli Damaskinos was the supreme overlord of the Vampire Nations. He had been struggling to rid his race of any weaknesses for quite some time, and nearly succeeds with the experiments on his son, Jared Nomak, but ultimately fails. Concerned about the rapid reproduction of the Reaper strain, he enlists the help of Blade and Whistler to defeat them alongside the the Bloodpack, though it is revealed later on that he was only doing so to collect Blade's biological data in order to perfect his research. This ultimately fails when Blade breaks free and Whistler destroys his genetically engineered vampire fetii. Eventually, he is confronted by Nomak; while he attempts to convince Nomak to stand down, Nomak is not fooled by his lies, and promptly rips his throat out with his teeth, leading him to bleed to death on the floor.
