This category is for fictional characters who have been proscribed, ostracized, marginalized or who are identified as fugitives and outlaws; defined as exiles, outcasts, convicted felons, those "violating the law" or, by extension, those living that lifestyle, whether actual criminals evading the law or those merely opposed to "law-and-order" notions of conformity and authority. They are denied all basic rights, legal protection, and government assistance, in particular so that anyone is legally empowered to discriminate against, persecute or even kill them.
