ecchi suru (エッチする), with the meaning "to have sex"; or as a noun, to describe someone "as lecherous". Commercial ecchi can be differentiated from hentai anime and manga. Ecchi are generally "softer" in tone and aesthetics; whereas hentai is frequently explicit and/or intensive.
