Caché is a French thriller-drama film from 2005, directed by Michael Haneke, who also wrote the story. The production was nominated for four Césars and won over twenty prizes actually, including European Film Awards for best film, Best Director, best actor and best editing (Daniel Auteuil) and three awards from the Cannes Film festival.
Story[Edit][]
Georges and Anne Laurent forms with their teenage son Pierrot a family that seems to have the act together fine for each other. They are healthy, have enough friends and stand with both legs in the society. Their lives are turned upside down when an anonymous sender time and again leave their front door for video tapes with drawings of bleeding children and animals there wrapped around it. The images are originally from long-term, seemingly harmless recordings of the front of their House, but change gradually in images that make it clear that the creator more of Georges know than his current address. His relationship with Anne comes under heavy pressure because he has nothing about his suspicions regarding the los wants to show video tapes and bring nightmares at night one after the other memory of formerly at him above.
By different memories and stories of Georges slowly becomes clear what exactly has played in his youth. When he was a young boy, he had a boyfriend named Majid.When his parents died, he adopted Georges ' parents, making Georges was jealous.
