He was not only popular with his audience, but also in the major media. At the same time as Springsteen appeared on the cover of TIME Magazineand Newsweek. Many fans were attracted by the music and the performances of Springsteen, but were put off by the abundant media coverage.
Partly because of the growing influence of the journalist Jon Landau, Springsteen previously ' the future of rock n roll ' mentioned, there was a conflict between Springsteen and his impresario, Mike Appel. In connection with a lawsuit that Apple could not instituted against Springsteen, Springsteen quickly after releasing a new album Born to Run to continue the success.
