Block Buster! is a pop song by the British pop group The Sweet. This pop song was released in 1973 . It became in the Netherlands (after Funny, funny and Poppa Joe) the 3rd number one hit in the Dutch Top 40 and the Towering Thirty. In the site (British) home country was this their first and only number one hit.

The pop song Block Buster! start with sirens. This is a reference to blockbuster, the warning signal for German bombers from the second world war above London. The song is about Buster, a man with long hair, which should be stopped ("Block Buster"). After all, your wife under your nose hijacks Buster came from.
