BBC Radio 1Xtra (formerly 1Xtra or 1Xtra from the BBC) is a digital radio station in the United Kingdom and part of the British Broadcasting Corporation. The average audience of the transmitter is around 15 and 30 years old,[1] a little younger than sister station Radio 1. The transmitter provides continuous broadcasts music interspersed with BBC Newsbroadcasts and other voice messages that are specifically adjusted to the target audience. [2]
