BBC Asian Network is a national radio station in the United Kingdom and part of the British Broadcasting Corporation. The transmitter is made for British Asian origin with programmes of their life, culture and music, and other topics from a British-Asian point of view.

From 1977 there was a program broadcast weekly on BBC Radio Leicester for the British-Asian listener. This was called for the first time since 1988 The Asian Network. In1996 The BBC Asian Network was developed into a private broadcasting on AM, and in 2002 the transmitter became national accessible via Digital Audio Broadcasting,DVB-S and DVB-T. In addition, it is to receive on the AM radio in parts of the English Midlands and sometimes in parts of YorkshireLancashireHertfordshireand South East England . Nowadays, BBC Asian Network can also be heard via the internet and podcasts.
