Ayame Fujieda (藤枝 あやめ, Fujieda Ayame) was the acting Vice Commander of the Imperial Assault Force. She was also one of the former members of the Anti-Kouma Squad along with Ikki Yoneda, Shinnosuke Yamazaki and Kazuma Shinguji.
Kaede Fujieda, her younger sister, replaces her after the events of the first game.
Appearance[]
Personality[]
Ayame is a serious and dedicated vice-commander of the Teikoku Kagekidan, and also normally acts as a talent seeker.
Ayame has a deeply caring behavior for all of her subordinates and comrades from the Flower Division, sometimes being even playful and teasing(As it been saw during her first appearance in Sakura Taisen talking with Oogami), with this causing some misunderstanding from Sakura Shinguji or resulting in some another hilarious moments towards Tsubaki in the Ikku Masa mangá adaptation(Always in right timing interrupting Tsubaki's daydreamings of her being a lead actress in theater).
Although her professionalism and caring side, she hides a strong pain of losing Shinnosuke Yamazaki, who she loved.
Kouma Aya-Me: As her corrupted form, she takes a aggressive, luxurious, provocative and even sadistic personality. She does not hesitate to kill anyone or anything in her way. She becomes absolutely loyal to Kuroki Satan/Yamazaki, although her Ayame/Michael sides starts to struggle inside her,,,
Michael, the Archangel: After awakening, "Ayame/Michael" becames a truly goddess, being motherly lovable, extremely caring and wiser. Her angel form does not had any type of grudge against Lucifer/Satan, as she humbly and sincerely wishes Satan to return with her to the heavens, even telling him that God had forgave him. She speaks in a very messianic form.
Background[]
Kouma Aya-me[]
Kouma Aya-me (降魔・殺女) is the corrupt form of Ayame. She has the appearance of a fallen angel and her name is written as 殺女 ("killing-woman," also pronounced Ayame). Called the strongest Kouma, she is completely loyal to Satan, although a fraction of the original Ayame's personality shines through. Her good side eventually shines through and she rescue Ohgami from death at the cost of her own life if you choose to spare her.
Michael, the Archangel
It's the dormant true form of Ayame reincarnating at her since her birth. She's the responsible for the banishment of Lucifer/Satan from the heavens due to it's crimes. When spared, Michael awakens and reveals everyone who she was in fact. She helps the heroes and ends ascending the heavens bidding them farewell.
