Also sprach Zarathustra (en: thus spoke Zarathustra) is a book by Friedrich Nietzsche, the master of the well thought-out aphorism. It is a philosophical novel with extremely terse statements that can put everyone think, because it showcases desired topics.

When Zarathustra was thirty years old, he left his native soil and retired to the mountains (Zarathustra dreissig Jahre alt ' As war, seine Heimat und den See seiner Heimat there verliess und went in das Gebirge '). After ten years he leaves the place of his kluizenaarschap and mixes among people (later) in the company of his wise snake and Eagle (begann Zarathustras Untergang ' Also '). The last man is a concept that is described in the book-a people sex that is to come and that is no longer able-and nor is encouraged-to rise above themselves to creative. The last man ' has found happiness ', and in fact, with his ' goal ' together.
Nietzsche is at its best with a lot to think and ponder goals that often made initially "pain" will do; Hence its call to courage.

The German composer Richard Strauss relied in 1896 on this book by composing the symphonic poemof the same name; Also sprach Zarathustra. This work became world famous when the beginning of the music piece, Sonnenaufgang, by film director Stanley Kubrick was used in the opening scene of the movie 2001: A Space Odyssey.
Elvis Presley also used this during the opening of various concerts.
The Fall refers in the song Free Range to both "Also sprach Zarathustra" as "2001: A Space Odyssey", for example, in 2001 the rules "Also Sprach Zarathustra".
During a performance in 1998 in Utrecht from Prince revealed this musician to have predictive abilities. In one of the songs, 2001: Also Sprach Zarathustra, he sang the rules: "Osama Bin Laden get ready to bomb" and "America watch out in 2001". [source?]
